Easter Cupcakes (Made with boxed mix!)
Easter Cupcakes – absolutely delicious and so easy. They uses a boxed cake mix. So it’s perfect for making with kids!
Why decorate eggs when you could make cupcakes for Easter?! At the end of craft time together wouldn’t you rather eat a cupcake than an egg? I know I would!!
To make the cupcakes, all you need is:
- 1 box Pillsbury Cake Mix – chocolate (plus ingredients for making batter)
- 1 Pillsbury Frosting – chocolate
- Dark Chocolate (shaved)
- Blue coated candy (you can find these at just about any grocery store – get multi-colored if you can’t find blue)
P.S. here are some fun cupcake liners like the ones we used!
Can you make these Easter cupcakes ahead of time?
If you are making these with kids, you can make it even easier by prepping the cupcakes ahead of time. Then when you’re ready – you can frost, coat with chocolate shavings, and top with an Easter egg!
You can also make the whole cupcake the day before. Then serve when you’re ready to eat!
What else to make for Easter?
Make a ham. Plus this hashbrown casserole. With this asparagus. And spring cobb salad. Finished with some carrot cake or these cupcakes for dessert. YUM.
