Cooking Tools
Meat Thermometer
A must have! It takes all the guess work out of cooking meat. You’ll never have to worry about under/over cooking meat again.
Spatulas
These have a little nub so you can lay the spatula down without the spoon touching the counter. Meant for all types of food (wooden spatulas shouldn’t be used with meat because you can’t get the bacteria out of it)!
Meat Masher
You can use a spatula, but this makes your life 1000x easier and it’s way more effective.
Mini Spatula
Used for getting things out of 9x13inch dishes like baked mac and cheese, brownies, egg casseroles, and cakes.
Silicone Brush
I use this to brush mustard on salmon, bbq sauce on grilled chicken, extra sauce on grilled meats, and butter on biscuits.
9-Inch Tongs
The absolute best way to toss and serve salads, pastas, and stir frys. And the nylon tops on these prevent scratches on your cookware.
Over the Sink Strainer
So you never have to choose between burning your hand or letting the strainer touch the sink when draining pasta.
Oven Mitt
This has grooves for a better grip. And it’s super easy to clean because it has a water resistant silicone outer layer.
All Kitchen Essentials
The full list of all my kitchen essentials! Plus the top 5 kitchen items I recommend getting first if you don’t know where to start.
Countertop Appliances
All the essentials you can keep on your counter top… or store away if keeping things on the counter isn’t your thing!!! 🙂
Pots and Pans
PSA: You don’t need all the pots/pans that come in a pots and pan set. I much prefer selecting the specific pots you will get the most use out of. That way you can get a few nice pots and save cabinet space.
Bakeware
Everything you need to bake anything in your oven. Baking sheets, baking pans, and multi-purpose baking items.
