Greek Layer Dip
Hummus, yogurt, red onion, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppadew peppers, fresh parsley, and feta are layered to create this delicious Greek inspired dip – grab a chip and serve this at your next party!
Forget the game, I’ll be neck deep in this dip.
Except true thing –> I had the opportunity to WORK the super bowl this year because I’m in this really cool thing called college and big hefty businesses like to come and recruit college kids for things such as said Super Bowl. Yeah, cool right? Too bad I was in an exam review while the sign ups were taking place. I tried to get my friend to sign me up, but you had to be there in person with an ID. Wahh.
Either way, I’m sure the super bowl will be super fun this year. Lots of places to go and people to hang out with!
When it comes to party food game food snack food etc, I have a deep and borderline inappropriate love for cheesy dips bubbling away inside of little mini Crockpots. And my ultimate weakness is almost always some variation of a Chili Cheese Dip which I regret to say is almost always is made with V to the elveeta.
BUT, I think I have put an end to that vicious cycle with this dip because it totally rivals in taste and it definitely rivals in health-iness.
Sometimes I even serve it with “carrot chips” (carrots cut like chips that you can buy in the grocery store) and then it is basically all vegetables, hummus, and yogurt. WIN.
This dip is super customizable… don’t like onions? Throw them out. Love cucumbers? Add some more. Need olives in your life? Add them to the recipe. It’s just that simple. However, one suggestion – I add roasted red bell pepper hummus and peppadew peppers to mine (which you can find on the olive bar in your local grocery store) and these two ingredients totally pack on the flavor!
You can prep all the ingredients ahead, but it’s best to layer it just before serving as the cucumbers tend to get watery if they sit too long. If you don’t eat dairy, or if you want to keep it vegan, skip the yogurt/feta and add more hummus.

16 oz plain Greek Yogurt
10oz Sabra Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
1/4 red onion, minced
1 cucumber, chopped
1 cup cherry tomato, chopped
1 cup roasted red bell pepper, chopped
5 peppadew peppers, chopped (found on olive bar)
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/2 cup cup chopped fresh parsley
Dippers: Triscuits, pita chips, whole-grain crackers, carrots chips, celery, or cucumber slices
- Spread Greek yogurt on the bottom of an 8×8 dish.
- Spread hummus evenly on top.
- Sprinkle on red onions, cucumbers, roasted red bell peppers, tomatoes, feta cheese, and parsley.
- Serve immediately with dippers.
