I’m Emily – the recipe developer, inspiring writer and photographer behind all these easy, tasty, delicious recipes.

Layers of Happiness is a celebration of all things delicious. That means chips and guacamole for lunch is a great idea, but ridiculous milkshakes for dinner is equally as acceptable and I’ll never say no to dinner served in a bowl with local, fresh ingredients  – it’s all about balance! The recipes you see on here are all developed by me (unless otherwise noted). I am always experimenting in the kitchen and creating new things to eat. As I get older, I am realizing the important of eating with the seasons and using food as fuel. Therefore, I find more and more of my recipes to focus on making healthy food delicious.
