Breakfast Banana Splits

Loaded with strawberry yogurt, fruit, granola, cinnamon, and Nutella! A healthy breakfast made in under 10 mins.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1/2 cup strawberry yogurt
  • optional 2 tablespoons Nutella.
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
  • 1 teaspoon ground flax seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh fruit (such as strawberries, kiwi, mangoes, peaches, blackberries or any other fruit you like)
  • honey and powdered sugar for sprinkling and extra sweetness

Instructions

  • Split the banana lengthwise and lay the two halves in a bowl. Top banana with yogurt.
  • If using Nutella - warm in the microwave for 15 to 30 seconds, or until it is very runny. Use a spoon to drizzle the Nutella over the yogurt, and sprinkle the almonds, ground flax, and cinnamon over top.
  • Top with the strawberries, kiwis, mangoes, blackberries and a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Dig in!
