Ingredients

For the dip:

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 yellow onion, coarsely chopped
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan, plus more for topping
  • 1/2 cup light mayo (important to use light mayo so the dip doesn’t get too oily!)
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper

For serving:

  • 1 (9.25 oz) bag Frito scoops (or crinkle cut potato chips)
  • Or bake the dip in a bread bowl!

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • In large bowl, add all the dip ingredients. Fold together until evenly combined.
  • Spread the dip into a single layer in an 8x8-inch baking dish. Top with a little extra grated parmesan, if desired.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes until just begins to get golden brown and bubbly.
  • Serve with frito scoops.
