Crispy Baked Boursin

An easy holiday entertaining appetizer! Made with only a few ingredients and done together in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin garlic & herb cheese
  • olive oil spray (optional)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 baguette, thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet or 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, add the flour. In a second bowl, add the egg and beat it. In a third bowl, add the panko, rosemary, thyme, and salt.
  • Take the boursin cheese out of the foil and coat in the flour. Second, dip and coat in the beaten egg. Third, dip in the panko bowl. Make sure to fully coat the boursin in each layer!.
  • Transfer to the boursin cheese to the prepared baking sheet. Spray with olive oil spray (optional).
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the panko is golden brown and the cheese is starting to crack open.
  • Remove from the oven. Transfer to a cheese board or platter. Finish with a drizzle of honey. Serve with warmed baguette and extra honey on the side.
