Frozen Strawberry Limeade
Sweet and fruity frozen Strawberry Limeades are the perfect drinks for long days and warmer weather. So easy and so refreshing, you’ll be making pitcher after pitcher all summer long.
When the days start to get longer and the weather gets warmer, I want nothing more than to be outside soaking up the sun. But when I get back inside, I want nothing more than something sweet and refreshing to cool me off.
This recipe is perfect for those icy-cold cravings! Sweet, sour, ice cold frozen limeades flavored with fresh strawberries and sprite.
The only other thing that can come close to shake a summer craving is one of these acai smoothie bowls.
For the limeades, I used frozen limeade concentrate, sprite, fresh strawberries, and ice. They are frozen, but aren’t thick in the slightest. Sort of in the middle of being frozen and on the rocks. Just the way I like them.
Substitutions: I’ve also made frozen Strawberry lemonades by substituting lemonade concentrate for the limeade. SO good. If you like a stronger strawberry flavor, you can decrease the ice and use half frozen strawberries and half fresh. If you want a little kick in you step, add some booze!! After my mom took her first sip, she said, “Wow, those would be awesome with some alcohol.” She suggest adding a shot of rum or a shot of tequila.
This sweet ‘n tart sipper makes the perfect afternoon snack or anytime you’re out soakin’ up the sun. It’s not too heavy, either. So you can absolutely have more than one… 😉
Here’s to all my summertime lovers… cheers! The warm weather has finally arrived!
Frozen Strawberry Limeade
Sweet and fruity frozen Strawberry Limeades are the perfect drinks for long days and warmer weather. So easy and so refreshing, you’ll be making pitcher after pitcher all summer long.

Ingredients:
3 cups fresh strawberries
4 cups ice
1 (12 oz) can frozen limeade concentrate
1 (12 oz) can Sprite (Sprite Zero also works)
2 tablespoons granulated sugar (I used Truvia)
Directions:
- Place everything in a blender and blend on high until smooth. I usually start with 4 cups ice and then add more if I think it needs it.
- Pour limeades into glasses and garnish with fruit, if desired.
- This recipe can be suited to your tastes. Want some alcohol? Add some. Do you think it needs more lime flavor? Add some lime juice. Same with strawberries.
