Definitely milk! it makes hot chocolate way creamier than water. We actually use heavy cream in the recipe for extra richness. But you can use milk if you prefer.

Ingredients:
6 cups milk
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream (or 1 1/2 cups milk)
1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups nutella
Directions:
- Add milk, sweetened condensed milk, whipping cream and vanilla extract to crock pot and quickly stir. Add nutella to crock pot and mix in, so nutella isn’t piled in one place.
- Cover and heat on low setting for 2 hours. Stir occasionally.
- Turn on keep warm setting after the 2 hours.
- Serve and top with whipping cream or marshmallows.
