A smoothie should be 5 things.

1. Very very cold.
2. Refreshing.
3. Healthy.
4. Satisfying.
5. Simple.

Today’s smoothie is all of the above, plus WAY more. It has four fruit in it. Sooo you know it’s good.

Is there really anything better than a sunshine-packed week of BBQs, birthdays, wine, cake, cheese, and road trips? No. There is not.

So, until it’s summer time… the next best thing is a (1) very cold, (2) refreshing, (3) healthy, (4) satisfying, (5) simple, and… ahem… de-bloating fruity concoction to get yourself back on track in a new week. Bonuses: it’s pink, tastes like vacation, and there’s only 6 ingredients.

Take THAT, Tuesday.

Four Fruit Smoothie

This outrageously refreshing and healthy smoothie only has 6 ingredients!

Ingredients:

2 bananas, peeled
3/4 cup strawberry greek yogurt
1 kiwi, peeled
2 cups strawberries (1 cup fresh, 1 cup frozen)
1 cup frozen mango chunks
1 tablespoon honey

Directions:

  1. Make sure you have a strong, powerful blender that will blend up the frozen berries, such as a Vitamix or a Blendtec
  2. Add all of the ingredients to the blender in the order listed. Blend on high for at least 3 minutes or until smooth. Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed. Add a splash of milk if smoothie is too thick. Taste; then add 1 Tablespoon of honey (or a little more as needed) if the smoothie isn’t sweet enough.
  3. Serve and enjoy. Store any leftover smoothie covered in the refrigerator for up to 8-10 hours.
